Description
LYFO DISK supplies Legionella pneumophila subsp. pneumophila as six lyophilised discs in a resealable, desiccant-protected vial. Each disc is hydrated and inoculated onto appropriate media to give a reference culture no more than three passages from the original collection strain. It is used as an external control to verify the performance of culture media, reagents and identification assays.
