Cultures are traceable to recognised collections such as ATCC, with documentation of passage history supplied. That traceability chain is what an ISO/IEC 17025 assessor examines when reviewing method validation.
Both are available. Quantitative preparations deliver a defined CFU range for growth promotion testing and method validation; qualitative preparations are intended for identification and positive controls.
Preparations are supplied within the passage limit recognised standards require, so the strain used in your laboratory remains demonstrably equivalent to the reference. Passage number is documented with each lot.
Storage is product-specific and stated on each page — commonly frozen or refrigerated. Cold-chain shipping is handled as part of delivery, and stability data is available on request.
Principally three things: verifying each new lot of culture media, validating a method during introduction, and providing positive and negative controls in routine testing.
The canonical organisms used across food, water and pharmaceutical testing are available. Send us the strains your methods specify and we will confirm availability and lead time.
We’ll respond with method, availability and lead time.
