Description
Acetamide Broth is a confirmation medium for Pseudomonas aeruginosa, including presumptive isolates obtained during bottled-water testing.
The method is based on acetamide deamination. A positive reaction changes the medium from orange-red to purple-red.
The broth supports conventional confirmation of presumptive Pseudomonas aeruginosa isolates.
