When food is cooked, heated or processed, ATP breaks down into ADP and AMP. ATP-only tests can miss this residue. A3 measures all three.
Fresh residue still carries most of its ATP, so an ATP-only test picks it up.

Questions
Which meters does LuciPac A3 Surface work with?
LuciPac A3 Surface works only with the Kikkoman Lumitester Smart, PD-30 and PD-20. Other brands' swabs do not work in the Lumitester Smart.
Does it count bacteria?
No. It measures organic residue left on a surface, which shows whether cleaning worked. To count bacteria, use a culture method such as Easy Plates. See Easy Plates
Is it an allergen test?
No. A3 shows whether organic residue is present, but it does not identify allergens. Use a specific allergen test for that.
How should the swabs be stored?
Store LuciPac A3 Surface at 2 to 8°C. Stored this way, the swabs have a 15-month shelf life.
