Description
Dextrose Agar is a general-purpose nutrient medium for cultivating a broad range of microorganisms.
Dextrose provides a readily available carbohydrate source. The PDF states that the medium may be used alone or supplemented with blood where an enriched formulation is required.
Prepared plates are inoculated and incubated at 36 ± 1°C for approximately 18–48 hours, with interpretation based on the organism and application under examination. No numbered formal method is stated.
