Description
Brain Heart Infusion Agar is an enriched general-purpose medium for cultivating a broad range of microorganisms.
The brain-heart infusion and peptone nutrients support fastidious organisms as well as other bacteria, yeasts and moulds. The prepared medium is inoculated and incubated at the temperature and duration stated for the organism under examination.
The technical sheet describes incubation at 36 ± 1°C for approximately 24–96 hours for the listed quality-control organisms. The PDF does not identify a numbered formal method reference.
