Description
Clostridium Broth is a differential liquid medium for detecting sulfite-reducing clostridia and cultivating other anaerobic microorganisms.
Sulfite reduction produces blackening in the medium, providing the characteristic reaction described in the PDF. Inoculated tubes are incubated anaerobically at approximately 36 ± 1°C for 18–24 hours.
Positive cultures are subcultured or confirmed according to the stated laboratory workflow. The technical sheet cites ISO 6461-1:1996.
