Description
TAT Broth Base is a neutralising cultivation medium for microbiological examination of highly viscous or gelatinous products.
Tryptone supports broad microbial growth. Phosphatidylcholine and added polysorbate 20 neutralise preservatives found in cosmetics and pharmaceutical products, improving recovery of viable organisms.
A viscous sample is suspended in the completed broth and incubated under the conditions specified in the PDF. Growth is assessed directly or by subculture.
