Description

Microbial Content Test Agar is a neutralising enumeration medium for evaluating microbial contamination in manufacturing and cosmetic environments.

Lecithin and polysorbate neutralise residual disinfectants and preservatives that could inhibit viable organisms. The nutrient base supports recovery and colony formation after sampling.

Samples from containers, equipment, surfaces or water-miscible cosmetics are inoculated by the procedure described in the PDF and incubated before colonies are counted.
