Description

Campylobacter Blood-Free Medium Base is a selective medium base for detecting Campylobacter species from clinical specimens and other materials.

The mCCDA formulation replaces blood with charcoal, ferrous sulfate and sodium pyruvate. After adding the specified selective supplement, the medium suppresses competing flora while supporting Campylobacter recovery.

The PDF states that the formulation follows ISO 10272 and describes an initial enrichment in Bolton Broth before inoculation of mCCDA where required. The product is intended for professional in-vitro diagnostic use.
