Description

Asparagine Enrichment Broth is a selective medium for detecting Pseudomonas aeruginosa in pool and bathing waters. Following incubation at 36 ± 1°C for 48 hours, a positive result is indicated by turbidity and production of a blue-green fluorescent pigment visible under long-wave ultraviolet light.
