Barnes Agar Base is a selective medium for isolating and presumptively identifying faecal streptococci and group D streptococci.
The PDF describes use of TTC as an indicator within the prepared medium to support recognition of presumptive colonies.
It is intended for conventional culture-based examination and subsequent confirmation of target isolates.
