Description
Campylobacter Karmali Agar Base is a blood-free selective medium base for isolating Campylobacter jejuni and Campylobacter coli.
Charcoal, ferrous sulfate and sodium pyruvate support the blood-free formulation. After addition of Karmali Supplement, the completed medium limits competing microorganisms while supporting Campylobacter recovery.
The PDF describes inoculation of faecal or other clinical and non-clinical material and incubation under microaerobic conditions at approximately 42°C for 48 hours. The product is intended for professional in-vitro diagnostic use.
