Description

OGYE Agar is a selective medium for isolating and enumerating yeasts and moulds.

Yeast extract and glucose provide nutrients for fungal growth, while oxytetracycline supplement suppresses accompanying bacteria.

Samples or decimal dilutions are inoculated according to the PDF and incubated at 22 ± 2°C for approximately five days before colonies are examined and counted.
