Description
Letheen Broth Base is a neutralising liquid medium for recovery of microorganisms exposed to quaternary-ammonium disinfectants.
Lecithin and polysorbate neutralise residual antimicrobial activity so that viable organisms can multiply during enrichment or be transferred to an enumeration medium.
The technical sheet connects the broth to ASTM E 640-78. The prepared broth is inoculated with the sample and incubated according to the intended disinfectant-evaluation procedure.
