Baird Parker Agar Base is a selective and differential medium for isolating coagulase-positive staphylococci, particularly Staphylococcus aureus. It is prepared at 60 g/L with Egg Yolk Tellurite Supplement and incubated at 36 ± 1°C for 24–48 hours.
