Description
Thermoacidurans Agar is a medium for isolating and cultivating Bacillus coagulans from foods.
The acidic pH and nutrient formulation support the thermophilic aciduric organism associated with spoilage of canned tomato products and dairy products.
Samples or cultures are inoculated onto prepared plates and incubated at approximately 55°C for 18–48 hours before colonies are examined.
