Yersinia PSB Broth is a selective enrichment medium for Yersinia enterocolitica.
Casein digest supplies nutrients, sorbitol is fermentable, phosphates buffer the broth and bile salts inhibit Gram-positive organisms.
Food, water or environmental samples are enriched in the prepared broth under the time and temperature conditions defined by ISO 10273 before plating onto selective agar.
