Description
Cronobacter Selective Broth is a selective enrichment medium for detecting Cronobacter species, formerly Enterobacter sakazakii.
Following pre-enrichment in buffered peptone water, a portion is transferred to the broth completed with vancomycin supplement. Sucrose fermentation produces the yellow colour reaction described in the PDF.
The enrichment is incubated at approximately 41.5°C and then subcultured onto a suitable Cronobacter isolation medium. The technical sheet cites ISO 22964:2017.
