Description
Nutrient Broth No. 2 is a nutrient base used to prepare selective enrichment broth for Campylobacter.
The completed Preston formulation contains lysed horse blood and the specified selective supplement, supporting Campylobacter recovery while restricting accompanying flora.
Samples are enriched under microaerobic conditions at approximately 41.5°C for 24 ± 2 hours and then subcultured to suitable Campylobacter isolation media according to ISO 10272-1:2017.
