Description

C-EC MF Agar is a chromogenic and fluorogenic membrane-filtration medium for detecting and differentiating Escherichia coli and coliforms in water. Blue-green colonies indicate coliforms, while E. coli is further identified by MUG fluorescence and indole confirmation after 18–24 hours of incubation.
