Description

Dichloran Glycerol (DG18) Agar Base with Chloramphenicol is a selective fungal-enumeration medium containing chloramphenicol.

Dichloran restricts the diameter of spreading fungal colonies, chloramphenicol inhibits accompanying bacterial flora and glycerol lowers the water activity of the completed medium.

The PDF states that the completed formulation conforms to ISO 21527-2 for low-water-activity products such as dried foods, grains, flour, nuts, spices and condiments.
