Description
Chromatic Staph aureus is a selective chromogenic medium for isolating and directly differentiating Staphylococcus aureus.
The chromogenic mix and dedicated supplement produce characteristic colony colour while selective agents inhibit competing microbiota.
Clinical or non-clinical specimens are inoculated directly and incubated under the conditions stated in the IFU. Characteristic colonies provide presumptive identification within approximately 24 hours and require confirmation.
