Description

Lecithin Supplement 10% is a neutralising liquid supplement used in culture media for microbiological examination of cosmetic products.

Lecithin neutralises quaternary ammonium compounds and contributes to neutralisation of phenolic and aldehyde preservatives. This reduces antimicrobial carry-over that could suppress recovery of viable microorganisms.

The PDF identifies use with media applied in cosmetic-microbiology workflows and cites ISO 21149 and ISO 21150. The supplement is added aseptically at the concentration specified for the completed medium.
