Description

Iodine MKTT Solution is an enrichment supplement used to prepare Muller-Kauffmann Tetrathionate Broth for Salmonella detection.

The iodine and potassium-iodide solution is combined with the base medium and novobiocin supplement to create the completed selective enrichment broth.

The PDF specifies addition of one 10 mL tube to 500 mL of prepared base medium. The kit contains ten tubes.
