Description
MIF Color Kit is a combined fixation, concentration and staining system for microscopic examination of faecal parasites.
The merthiolate–iodine–formalin formulation preserves parasitic structures and provides contrast for protozoa, cysts, eggs and larvae. The single-container format supports collection and initial processing of the specimen.
Faecal material is mixed with the reagent, processed according to the concentration procedure in the PDF and examined microscopically for preserved parasitic elements.
