Description
May-Grünwald Giemsa Color Kit is a differential staining kit for blood and bone-marrow smears and other clinical or cytological preparations.
The staining system combines basic dyes with eosin to differentiate nuclei, cytoplasm and cellular granules according to their affinity for the dyes. The sequential May-Grünwald and Giemsa steps produce the characteristic Romanowsky-type colour pattern.
The kit contains one 250 mL May-Grünwald reagent and one 250 mL Giemsa reagent. Stained smears are dried and examined microscopically according to the procedure in the PDF.
