Description
TTC 1% Supplement is a liquid redox indicator used in selective and differential culture media.
The colourless oxidised reagent is reduced by microbial metabolism to persistent red triphenylformazan. The PDF lists compatible media including Azide Maltose Agar KF, Barnes Agar Base, Slanetz and Bartley Agar Base and Tergitol Agar Base.
The required quantity is added to the selected base medium according to that medium's technical documentation before plates are dispensed.
