Description

Lactic Acid 10% Solution is an acidifying supplement for fungal culture media.

The solution lowers the pH of compatible formulations such as Malt Extract Agar and Potato Dextrose Agar, increasing their suitability for recovery of yeasts and moulds while restricting some accompanying bacteria.

One vial is added aseptically to 500 mL of sterile, cooled compatible medium according to the preparation instructions in the PDF.
