Description
XLT4 Supplement is a selective liquid supplement used with XLT4 Agar Base for detection and isolation of non-typhoidal Salmonella.
The anionic surfactant suppresses many competing Gram-positive and Gram-negative bacteria.
The IFU specifies adding 4.6 mL of supplement to one litre of XLT4 Agar Base before boiling and cooling. Each 50 mL bottle is sufficient for ten litres of completed medium.
