Description
Vitamin K 1% Supplement is a liquid growth supplement for Schaedler Agar Base and other media used to isolate and cultivate strict anaerobic bacteria.
Vitamin K supports anaerobes including Prevotella, Bacteroides and spore-forming Gram-positive bacteria.
One millilitre is added aseptically to one litre of autoclaved Schaedler Agar Base cooled to 45–50°C before defibrinated sheep blood is incorporated.
