Description
Legionella GVPC Supplement is a selective supplement used with BCYE medium for isolating Legionella.
Glycine, vancomycin, polymyxin B and cycloheximide restrict accompanying bacteria and fungi while the completed BCYE formulation supports Legionella growth.
One vial is reconstituted and added to 500 mL of compatible medium. Plates are used in the clinical or environmental culture workflow described by ISO 11731.
