Description

Chloramphenicol Supplement is a selective lyophilised supplement for preparing culture media used to isolate yeasts and moulds.

Chloramphenicol inhibits a broad range of Gram-positive and Gram-negative bacteria, increasing the selectivity of the completed fungal medium. The PDF identifies Rose Bengal Agar Base as a compatible medium and states that one vial is used for 500 mL.

The supplement is supplied as ten vials for professional in-vitro diagnostic use. Incubation and interpretation follow the instructions for the completed fungal medium.
