Description
Dermatophyte Supplement is a selective lyophilised supplement used to prepare dermatophyte culture medium.
Chlortetracycline inhibits Gram-positive and Gram-negative bacteria, improving selectivity for dermatophytes. One vial is reconstituted and added to 500 mL of the compatible sterile, cooled medium.
The product is supplied as ten vials for professional in-vitro diagnostic use. Incubation and interpretation follow the instructions for the completed dermatophyte medium.
