Description

m-CP Supplement is a selective antibiotic supplement used with m-CP Agar Base.

D-cycloserine, polymyxin B and incubation at 44°C suppress Gram-negative organisms and staphylococci while permitting recovery of Clostridium perfringens.

One vial is reconstituted and added to 500 mL of m-CP Agar Base together with Supplements A, B and C. The completed plates are used anaerobically for water testing.
