Description
Middlebrook 7H10 OADC Supplement is a liquid growth supplement for Middlebrook 7H10 and 7H11 agar bases.
Oleic acid supports mycobacterial metabolism, bovine albumin protects tubercle bacilli from toxic agents, glucose supplies energy, catalase removes peroxides and sodium chloride maintains osmotic balance.
One 50 mL bottle is added to 450 mL of the compatible sterile, cooled agar base. The completed medium is used for cultivation of mycobacteria.
