Description

Fraser Supplement is a two-component lyophilised supplement used to prepare Fraser Broth Base.

Acriflavine and nalidixic acid inhibit accompanying flora. Ammonium ferric citrate reveals aesculin hydrolysis by Listeria through blackening of the completed broth.

One vial of Supplement A and one vial of Supplement B are reconstituted and added to 500 mL of Fraser Broth Base for selective enrichment according to ISO 11290-1.
