CNA Staphylococcus/Streptococcus Supplement is a selective supplement used to prepare media for isolating Gram-positive cocci.
Colistin and nalidixic acid suppress many Gram-negative organisms, supporting recovery of staphylococci, streptococci and pneumococci. The supplement is reconstituted and added aseptically to the compatible medium specified in the PDF.
The product is supplied as ten vials and is intended for professional in-vitro diagnostic use. Culture and interpretation follow the technical documentation for the completed medium.
