CFC Pseudomonas Supplement is a selective lyophilised supplement used with Pseudomonas Agar Base for isolating Pseudomonas species.
Cetrimide, fusidic acid and cephaloridine provide the selectivity described in the PDF. The reduced cetrimide concentration supports recovery of psychrotrophic Pseudomonas strains, while the antibiotics restrict competing organisms.
One reconstituted bottle is added to 500 mL of the specified agar base together with glycerol supplement. The product is supplied as ten bottles; the PDF does not state a numbered formal method reference.
