Description
Legionella BCYE Growth Supplement is a growth supplement used with CYE Agar Base to prepare BCYE medium for cultivation of Legionella.
The supplement supplies L-cysteine, ferric pyrophosphate and other growth factors required by Legionella. The completed medium supports primary growth and comparison with cysteine-deficient medium during confirmation.
One vial is reconstituted and added to the compatible base according to the PDF. The resulting BCYE medium is used in Legionella workflows linked to ISO 11731.
