VCC Selective Supplement is a selective enrichment supplement for detecting Escherichia coli O157.
The antibiotic mixture suppresses competing organisms during enrichment in Modified Tryptone Soya Broth, Buffered Peptone Water or E.E. Broth.
One vial is sufficient for preparing 225 mL of enrichment medium. The completed broth is handled according to the associated base-medium technical sheet.
