Description
Meropenem Supplement is a selective lyophilised supplement used with VRE culture media.
Meropenem suppresses Gram-negative organisms and helps restrict Enterococcus gallinarum while permitting recovery of vancomycin-resistant enterococci under the conditions described in the PDF.
One reconstituted vial is added to the compatible VRE agar or broth base. The product is supplied as ten vials for professional in-vitro diagnostic use.
