Description
Chromatic ESBL + AmpC Supplement is a selective lyophilised supplement used with Chromatic ESBL medium.
The supplement creates the selective conditions required to recover Enterobacteriaceae producing ESBL and AmpC enzymes. One vial is reconstituted and added to 500 mL of the specified sterile, cooled base medium.
The product is supplied as ten vials for professional in-vitro diagnostic use. Presumptive colonies are interpreted using the colour reactions of the completed chromogenic medium and require confirmatory testing.
