Description
Coagulase Test is a rapid plasma-based reagent for detecting coagulase production by staphylococci.
A suspension of the test organism is mixed with rabbit plasma and incubated as stated in the PDF. Clot formation or coagulation is interpreted as a positive reaction, supporting differentiation of coagulase-positive organisms such as Staphylococcus aureus.
The kit is intended for professional in-vitro diagnostic use and is supplied as five 4 mL bottles, each providing approximately forty tests.
