Easy Plate SA is a ready-to-use chromogenic film medium that grows Staphylococcus aureus as blue colonies and reads in 24 hours rather than the 48 required by traditional methods. Selective inhibitors suppress competing organisms, which appear pink to red. It correlates closely with plate count agar across dairy, cooked meat and prepared foods.
