Description
CompactDry EC is a ready-to-use dry chromogenic plate for enumerating E. coli and other coliforms in foods, water and surface swabs. The dried medium turns to gel and self-spreads when 1 mL of sample is applied, so no media preparation or pour plating is needed. After 24 hours at 35 C, E. coli colonies are blue to blue-purple and other coliforms are red to pink.
