Description
Strip Control PUM E6 is a biological indicator for validation and monitoring of irradiation-sterilisation processes.
Paper strips contain a defined population of Bacillus pumilus spores. Following exposure, strips are transferred to the supplied colour-indicating Steri Test Medium; surviving spores cause yellow colour and turbidity.
Strips are positioned at critical points, processed with the irradiation cycle and incubated at 30–35°C for seven days. Unchanged violet-clear medium indicates successful sterilisation.
